Landscape Trails

The wider demesne of the 300 acre Strokestown Estate is currently inaccessible to the public and we have plans to develop this to be enjoyed by visitors in the coming years. We began to make parts of it accessible in 2012 with the opening of the Woodland Walk and are delighted to see many visitors enjoying this amenity.

We would like to give visitors further access to the wonderful new heritage features on the Strokestown estate and discover many fascinating and charming landscape features along the way. A variety of lengths will be offered to suit everyone and will include the Historical House, Walled Garden, 12th Century Church, Neolithic Rath, Bluebell Wood and the original estate Ice House.

If you wish to contribute to this project, please contact us or click on the Donate link below. More information will follow in the coming months.
