We welcome all visitors to Strokestown Park. There are three steps up to the front door of Strokestown Park House and a wheelchair entrance is fitted on the right-hand side of the house. Staff will be happy to assist. We regret that access to the first floor is restricted. However, we have information on these rooms in a folder at the welcome desk.
The National Famine Museum, Café and Gift Shop are all wheelchair accessible. The Gardens and Woodland Walk are surfaced with gravel. Assistance dogs are welcome in the house, grounds, shop and café. During café opening hours water is provided outside for visiting dogs. For the comfort and safety of other visitors, dogs should be kept on a short lead at all times.
